Meet at the Vancouver Convention Centre from Home with our New Virtual Backgrounds
April 30th, 2020 / TechnologyAs we continue to adjust to new routines and new ways of thinking, one thing has stayed the same for all of us: the need to connect with one another. Thankfully, with the ability to meet virtually through platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, organizations, groups, families and friends have been able to keep engaged and continue collaborating from the comfort of our homes.
However, while our team at the Vancouver Convention Centre has adapted to this new way of working together, we do miss our facility and everything that comes with being there – meetings throughout the venue, our beautiful spaces and connecting with guests from our communities and all across the world.
To help make our virtual environments feel a bit more familiar, and to hold us over until face-to-face meetings return, we have created a collection of beautiful backgrounds featuring several of our signature spaces to use in our meetings online - and we’d like to share them with you!
To view and download the collection of images, including ones of our iconic suspended globe, the West building’s ballroom view of Coal Harbour, the Digital Orca and more, click here.

While we don’t know when in-person meetings and conferences will return, we do know that they will. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy these virtual versions of our spaces.
